My first foray into astrophotography. Taken with Cannon EOS 400D mounted on Meade 8" LX10 Schmidt-Cassegrain. I couldn't get the complete moon in view so this is a mosaic of four pictures stitched together in Photoshop.
Each picture was 1/40th second at f1.8 and ISO 100. Taken on 27th August when moon was waxing but two days from full.
