Bayfordbury Open Evening

Friday 16th November 2007 - 6.00pm to 10.00 pm
The University of Hertfordshire is holding an Open Evening at its Observatory. The evening will include a guided tour of the telescopes. Weather permitting visitors will be have the opportunity to view the night sky, both looking through the telescopes and also using the University's high-sensitivity CCD imaging and video cameras. (If the weather is bad they will show some pictures that they took earlier).

In addition there will be talks, a planetarium show as well as workshops and demonstrations in the Science Learning Centre.

Price: Adults £3, Children £1.50, students, concessions and under 5's free. This should be paid at the door by cheque or cash.

To ensure that things run smoothly, advance booking is essential** - indicating the size of your group and your preferred choice of arrival time - 6.00pm, 6.30pm, 7.00pm, 7.30pm, 8.00pm or 8.30pm .
